Main Reasons to Buy

Knothole Island opens up a new region with new quests, equipment and achievement points available.  There are also several new items including weight loss/gain potions and height loss/gain potions. The main reason though is that if you took the good or evil path at the end of the main gain you will see the return of a faithful friend.

Main Reasons to Avoid

The DLC itself is fairly short and the quest can be completed in less than 3 hours, with the side quests for the achievement points only adding on another 1 or 2 hours if not completed during the course of the main quest. The moral choice at the end of the main quest is also one where an evil character may choose to do a good deed as the reward is so pathetic and the villain so unlikeable. The faithful friends return also negates the reason for choosing the neutral path at the end of the main quest and there is no alternate reward for people like myself who took the neutral path.

CONSIDER – 7/10

While the DLC is relatively short it is in line with the price of the DLC available for other RPGs. If you enjoy Fable 2 and have the points to spare I recommend downloading Knothole Island.
