Main Reasons to Buy

It is one of the latest and best football games on the markets, the 10 v 10 mode is superb and their are a wealth of options available in the game. It is one of the games that is easy to learn but difficult to master. This game should keep you entertained until the next FIFA is released in October.

Main Reasons to Avoid

Aside from the 10 v 10 team multi-player option there is little significant advancement over Fifa 08. The menu system is also quite unwieldy and some options are hidden away in difficult to reach places, the manual is also quite poor.

My Recommendation

BUY – 8/10

The main reason if you like football games not to buy Fifa 09 is it offers little over Fifa 08. That aside I would recommend buying this title.
