REVIEW – Bioshock 2 (Xbox 360)
The first Bioshock was an excellent story driven shooter with RPG elements that showed in an increasingly multiplayer driven environment games could thrive on single player alone. The story in the game was very self contained and did not feel like it needed a sequel, so the question is will Bioshock 2 prove to be a worthwhile continuation of the franchise or just sell on the strength of the original game.

REVIEW – Dragon Age Origins: Return to Ostagar (DLC)
While I enjoyed playing Dragon Age Origins and was looking forward to the Return to Ostagar DLC. I ended up being disappointed as I found the DLC to be short and to lack originality or innovation and to be overpriced at 400 MS Points.
Review – Tales of Monkey Island: The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood [PC]
Following on from the welcome return of Murray in Chapter 4, another well known character makes a return in the form of Stan, who is the prosecuter in Guybrush’s trial. For a change however it seems that Guybrush has been framed (or at least not as guilty as implied) and the first part of the game has you trying to clear the Mighty Pirate’s™ name.
REVIEW – Forza Motorsport 3
Thanks in part to the UK postal strike and pre-ordering, I managed to get my hands on Forza 3 early and I am glad to say it was definitely worth (not) waiting for. If you enjoyed Forza 2 then Forza 3 offers more of the same but in a more highly polished and streamlined package.
REVIEW – Sam and Max Season 2 Beyond Time and Space (XBLA)
While I am not that big of a Sam and Max fan, I do enjoy Point and Click Graphic Adventure games (aside when stuck on a puzzle), and after playing through and completing Sam and Max Season 2, I am pleased to report that it is every bit as good as the first installment, with the main problem with the game being that as with the first installment it has been available for the PC for some time.
REVIEW – South Park Lets Go Tower Defense Play (XBLA)
I have to confess to rather liking the South Park TV series, despite it often being offensive, blasphemous and crude and there are a few episodes that I just cant watch all the way through because of these aspects. There are times however when the show is hilarious and after a few minutes of playing the game, its clear that the creators of the TV series have had a big hand in the game, when the first group of enemies are revealed to be the Ginger Kids, and as watchers of South Park know, according to Cartman Ginger Kids have no souls!
REVIEW – Puzzle Bobble Live! (XBLA)
The original Puzzle Bobble (Bust a Move in the US & Canada) is now over 15 years old having been originally released in June 1994 and is generally regarded as a classic puzzle game. The question is does Puzzle Bobble still have what it takes to compete with the likes of Peggle and Zuma?

An episode of Tales of Monkey Island with a big skull shaped dollop of extra evil, Mwahahahaha!
