REVIEW – F1 2010 (Xbox 360)

With the real life Formula 1 World Championship reaching its conclusion, read my impressions of the game and if I believe it is as exciting as the real life version

Overlord 2 Review (Xbox 360)

The first Overlord game, released in 2007 was an enjoyable RPG-lite, that put you in the role of the villain and had you battling corrupted heroes modelled after the 7 deadly sins. This sequel puts you in the role of the son of the Overlord of the first game, and also offers lots of minion carnage and fluffy animal killing.

Fuel Review (Xbox 360)

Fuel is an open world racing game, that has been recognised as having the largest playable area in a console game of over 14000 km². The setting is a post apocolyptic version of America, where the roads suddenly have bends in them, and you drive vehicles that would not look out of place in mad max.

Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust (Xbox 360)

The Leisure Suit Larry franchise has been around for ages, and Box Office Bust is the ninth installment. Like most of the previous games it has a mix of Adult “humour” and sexual themes, while showing very little if everything. This is the 2nd game to star “Larry Lovage” as the protaganist the nephew of the original Larry, “Larry Laffer” who appears in this game as well.

The plot of the game has you attempting to save your uncles film studio from a hostile takeover, and the gameplay mechanic is essentially a combination of platforming and item discovery with a few other elements thrown in with set pieces. There are also a few mini-games including time trials.
