DLC Review – Deus Ex: The Missing Link
The Third Deus Ex game was a welcome addition to the franchise with it following in the footsteps of the previous games with an enjoyable mix of RPG, FPS and Stealth. As is fast becoming the norm there is now some DLC in the form of the Missing Link.
REVIEW – Mass Effect: Pinnacle Station (DLC)
My first impression was one of surprise, not at the content of the DLC but the fact it appeared on the marketplace with no fanfare or official announcement, though its existence has been known about for a while. I also had fairly low expectations of the DLC given its discription as a “fight club” style station.
Fable 2: See The Future Review (Xbox 360: DLC)
“See The Future” is the second piece of Downloadable Content released for Fable 2, following on from the enjoyable if limited Knothole Island. See The Future is a similar length to Knothole Island but about a third cheaper. The DLC also rectifies some of the achievement issues from the original game, as the “Pub Games or Online only” achievements can now be obtained with new items that are included in the DLC, there is a potential problem with one of the new achievements though, as it requires you to have the chicken suit, which IIRC can only be obtained through completing the show on the fable 2 website.
Fallout 3: The Pitt Review (DLC)
Fallout 3 is one of the best RPGs around for any system and The Pitt is the 2nd of 3 pieces of DLC to be released on the Xbox 360 and PC for the game. The basic plot of the Pitt is that you pick up a radio signal and after investigating it are asked for help in freeing The Pitt from the slavers and to get the cure for the degenerative radiation linked sickness that slowly turns the residents of the Pitt into feral ghoul like creatures called Trogs. You then infiltrate the Pitt as a slave and the plot progresses from there including a brief Mad Max 3 Thunderdome-esque sub plot 2/3 of the way through the DLC think “Two Men enter 1 Man leaves”
DLC Review: GTA IV: The Lost and Damned
In TLAD you take on the role of Johnny Klebitz a member of the lost biker gang who you occasionally encountered in GTA IV whilst playing as Niko, and the DLC takes place in the same time frame so you get to see these encounters from Johnny’s perspective and gain a new understanding of why certain things did or did not happen to Niko, as you take on Johnny’s missions. The main plot though revolves around Johnny and his struggles following the release of the chapter leader of the Lost biker gang and the upheaval this causes.
Fable 2 Knothole Island Review (DLC)

Fallout 3 Operation Anchorage (DLC)
Fallout 3 is one of the best RPGs on the market and Operation Anchorage expands upon this world. It offers a unique quest set in a simulation similar to one in the main quest and provides background on one of the key historical encounters in the Fallout World. The quest is also fully voice acted and enjoyable to play through. Finally the DLC also offers another opportunity to get the T-51b power armour and other high level equipment.
